Meet Kristen

Welcome to The Flowmad’s community, where yoga, meditation, and mindfulness come together to help you reconnect, slow down, and cultivate self-care. The heart of my work is simple: making yoga approachable for beginners and accessible to anyone seeking more balance, clarity, and calm in their daily life.

In January 2024, I stepped away from the corporate world to focus on my mental health and personal healing. That shift led me deeper into yoga and meditation, eventually bringing me to Rishikesh, India, the birthplace of yoga, where I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training. The experience awakened a profound appreciation for mindful movement, breath awareness, and meditation as tools for emotional grounding and inner peace.

In September 2025, I returned to India for advanced study with The Yoga Gau. In completing my 300-hour training, I became RYT-500 certified. This training strengthened my foundation in traditional yoga philosophy, meditation techniques, pranayama, and alignment-based practice—all of which now shape the way I teach.

My approach centers on mindfulness, meditation, and yoga for all. It is designed to reduce stress, improve mental clarity, and support emotional well-being. Yoga is not about flexibility or performing perfect poses, it’s about creating spaciousness within yourself, finding stillness in movement, and returning to your breath as a source of strength.

Whether through private one-on-one sessions, small group lessons, or corporate mindfulness workshops, I offer grounding practices that meet each student exactly where they are. Each class is crafted to help you slow down, tune inward, and build a sustainable, nourishing relationship with your mind and body.
